Hi Everybody,

Been collecting Decimal and Pre-Decimal coins for a while now but only just starting to take it seriously. Have finally got them all sorted in 2x2's and in a folder.

Concentrating my collection on 20c, 50c, $1 and Florins

About to goto the bank to try and noodle for some 50c and $1. Hopefully I can get get a large number of coins from them :)

Looking forward to chatting to you all.

Went to the bank. Got a small quantity out:

$50 worth of $1
$50 worth of 50c
$30 worth of 20c

So far, nothing particularly amazing. Will let you know how I go!

Will try again next week.

Hello Kermit and welcome!
It ain't easy being green, and collecting coins is no exception.
But as you search through bank rolls remember that thousands
of your brothers and sisters are looking over your shoulder, saying:
"Ooh, ooh, what did you find?"
ENJOY!

Going to noodle again today. $100 to put towards either 20cent or 50cent. Thoughts about which might yield more interesting varieties?
Obviously I would have more coins with 20cent pieces but not too sure which way to spend my evening...lol

Last noodling venture I pretty much got just standard designs for all of the coins.

Just noodled $50 worth of $1 and $50 worth of 20cent.

Nothing to write home about with the $1.

As for the 20 cent pieces:

1 x 2011 Prince William and Cate.
1 x 2005 Coming Home
2 x 2001 Canberra
2 x 2011 Womens Day
3 x 2010 Tax

Not particularly exciting sadly. No Mules and no wavy :(
