Yesterday I posted a photo of the 1944-S Mercury dime.

Then, in the afternoon, my wife was digging in her strawberry garden in our yard and dug this up!

Why bother with a metal detector?

Heh, imagine if it was a '13 !!

Where there is one coin, there may be another.

Why a metal detector, mainly because you don't want your yard looking like the scene from the movie "Holes" - unless the results are the same.

Nice find regardless !
