I see these photos as too dark to tell for absolutely sure. I THINK I see some Machine Doubling on some surfaces, but again, the photos need some better lighting. Try a stronger light or have it up close and drape some cloth or other item over the light just long enough to take a picture.

If you see doubling and its near the top of the coin and none of the letters, numbers or other devices are reduced in size or cut away, it might be something. Doubled dies typically are thicker, maybe even wider in size.

Once the doubling cuts away at the coins letters, numbers and other devices is when Machine Doubling comes to life.

There is no such think as being "close" to a DDR. It either is or it isn't. I see Machine Doubling on your coin.
