I don't own any albums but I would like to for Roosevelt dimes. I know Whitman folders are a pretty bad choice for storing coins and want to upgrade. I was wondering if anyone had the version of the 7125 album as seen here: http://www.coinsupplyexpress.com/ro...BxOgodhHAA0wThis album goes til 2026. Will there be another album after or just add pages? Also, it looks like this does not include the 1996W dime. is there an album that does? Any feedback or advice would be great. Thanks!

The 8125, which has places for Proof Only issues, also has the 1996-W hole.

Thanks Jbuck. I'm not looking into proofs for this, so would the 7125 have no hole, and the 8125 have it but with proofs I don't want?
If that's the case, I think it works out sort of well since I was planning on buying a high grade 1996W in a slab anyways.

I started out using Whitman and had continual problems with coins sliding out of the holes and down into the cardboard. I have never had that even one time while using Dansco or even briefly, Littleton, albums.

I have quite a number of both Whitman and Dansco albums, and haven't had any issues with coins sliding around. I think they're both fine and solid choices. One thing I'll say is that the Mint has made changes to every circulating coin except the dime in the past decade, so you run the risk of the more recent pages needing to be replaced if they do some kind of multi-coin commemorative-type releases like they've did for nickels and cents. Ah, the perils of being a collector.

I saw something about the mint working on designs for a commemorative dime for the March of Dimes. But that's true that they'll change it.

Last year was the 75th anniversary of its founding and I think the mint missed a good opportunity. Then again, the 80th will be here in four more years.

Quote: The commemorative coin will be issued in 2015 in honor of the March of Dimes' 75th Anniversary. Taken from the March of Dimes website. So we were both right on. 500,000 silver commemorative $1 coins. So looks like this album wouldn't even have that in here.

An anniversary coin issued two years after the anniversary. Well, it is not like they have never done something like that before.

I think Dansco albums are the best choice, they just look nicer than other albums in my opinion. Another option is Library of Coins albums. They can be hard to find, but they are nice as well, especially if you can find a nice copy.
