So how do you carry your pocket piece?

I carry it loose. Carrying it in an airtite misses the whole point. Carrying it loose takes me back in time and lets me handle the coin on a daily basis.

Not. I like the sound of silver against silver in my pocket.

No, I don't use an airtite for my pocket pieces. If I would keep a coin in an airtite, I'd rather keep that in my collection, not my pocket. Without an airtite, my ASE pocket piece is getting very interesting, with all the wear and tear.

Think I should just get another 2014 ASE and free this one from its airtite prison let it breath and wear gracefully

I'm not sure a 2014 ASE embodies the spirit of a pocket piece. Grab old silver, something that makes for an interesting conversation piece and there you go

I carry a "1 free pack of cigaretts" token. My dad had a few, & I get to screw w/ 7-11 employs.

I have carried around a generic silver round in an airtite but since I don't like pocket change in the first place I kind of gave up on it... a whole extra ounce of silver just meant my pants fell down easier I always fear that if I had an Indian head nickel or silver of any kind rolling around in my pocket I would mess up and spend it My brother does carry a Morgan, a Washington quarter and a Roosevelt dime in a 2x2 plastic flip (the flip has already had to be replaced once) as a conversation starter and history lesson about intrinsic value vs. FRN economic collapse. He's the silver/copper/nickel hoarder... I'm the collector... The difference is my jaw drops when I get a 1939-S Nickel from a roll and do a happy dance... he says "who cares it's not silver"
