Hi everyone! How would you grade this 1943 half dollar I bought raw on ebay? I noticed that it did seem to have an above average strike.

I have been trying to improve my pictures but that is still a work in process with my Galaxy S4. It probably would have helped if it wasn't in the 2x2 holder (didnt help that the mylar was crumpled a bit at the top of the obverse either)! For some reason, only the 2nd to the last picture shows the few tiny nicks in the right field of the obverse.

Thank you for looking

Reverse is MS-64 but I'm afraid the obverse would keep the coin at 63.

Glad I could post a coin everyone could agree on! 63 is what I was thinking too when I bought it.

Of the 12 coins I submitted, this is the only one that was a surprise (in the bad way). It doesn't have the obvious hairlines most cleaned coins have. At least the lesson was not that expensive!
