Coin is currently in an old white ANACS holder (tough to get decent photos from those holders), considering breaking it out and sending it into PCGS raw... What do you think it would grade out as/ what do you think ANACS graded it? I love the toning on this one...

Assuming it's in an ANACS slab, probably MS. I find it hard to distinguish between AU and MS with these Edwardian Types because they are plagued by weak strikes and it hard to tell the difference between worn dies and actual wear. I'll play it safe and say AU-55 but there is a good chance that it might grade MS, has the luster for it. But really at the very minimum it's AU could very well get into the MS-62 range. I would think that you should probably send it to ICCS rather than PCGS.

Pictures to small to give an accurate grade. Looks to be somewhere between EF45-MS63. Nice coin with nice toning.

zxccxz, I am not a fan of the grading of ICCS, I know most of the Canadian collectors in Canada love their grading , but my own personal collection is all PCGS graded, and even on coins that I resell on ebay, if a coin is ICCS graded I cannot list grade in the title on ebay since I'm in the U.S., so I tend to avoid ICCS graded coins...

I'll say ANACS gave it a MS-63 grade.

ANACS gave it AU58 and it does look like it has a bit of wear on the cheek, but these issues are so tough because of the quality of the strikes ect... I've gone back and forth on this one because it has full luster but it does appear to have that bit of wear on the cheek...

I'm pretty sure I'm going to break it out when I send my next batch to PCGS in the next month or so, so I'll get some better photos once I've cracked it out, but even if it comes back at AU55 I'll be pretty happy, I snagged this one for $60 and change a couple of years ago...
