Can you guess what PCGS graded this at? And what details (if any) are there? I will leave this up for a week and then give the answer! Good Luck!!

And P.S. This was a hereditary heirloom that is special to me so don't say anything negative about it...

I'm going to say F-15. Can't tell if she's been cleaned, but it is a real possibility. She's better than mine by a long shot.

If it were problem free, I could see it in a VF20 holder. I consider this to be what the old schoolers call an F18. My opinion is PCGS gave it F Details - Rim Damage/Filed Rim. Usually when a rim hit effects the denticles like this one, they detail the coin. Regardless of grade, I'm glad you have an heirloom you are proud of and I bet it's an MS70 in your eyes.

I think maybe a stretch to go VF25 but at least a VF20, the rims do look messed with, filed slightly possibly to hide a bad rim bruise sounds right, also seems to be some minor horizontal lines indicative of a cleaning sometime ago. Still a very nice barber half can't say if it went details or not, usually PCGS will really ding a submitter on rim damage, the old cleaning can slide through occasionally.
