That's a lamination across the face. Pretty common on Jeff's and Buff's. It's a keeper though.

I wouldn't say common, but when they are minor they are less desired. When the lamination is huge, then there is more interest shown. So I think 52Raymo meant because of the smallness of the lamination, they are in less demand. I find a cent will get 50 cent and upward. If they are huge laminations, the prices raise a lot more.

Well I probably see more laminations with nickels than anything I've roll searched. I just bought a roll of War Nickels and probably close to half of them had laminations but that's probably normal for war nicks I suppose. It's just my experience with box after box of Jeff's as I was filling my album. They usually stuck to my fingers lol, the little sharp edges.
