Hi All, I feel like every time I go into a LCS or surf e-bay the last few days I cannot pick a coin I want or even see a coin I am remotely interested in. I have a few extra bucks even right now and don't want anything. Am I burned out for now.

Do you ever look at your coin collection and think..... (Will I ever be satisfied?) https://goccf.com/t/179847posted at almost the same time... you two need to talk Edit: For me I don't feel it, but like many on here I collected as a kid and have left the collection in the back of the closet for the past 20 or so years, I just got back into it not long ago. So it's all still fresh and exciting to me. Especially since I'm now doing CRH.

I started collecting in 1971 and have taken a break or two over that time. But I have never stopped completely even during the breaks. Take a (short) break and good luck. John1

I am selling off some of my varieties of my 7070 and moving on to the hold page...maybe.

I tend to lose interest at the beginning of summer, then it picks up again in the fall. I suppose that we Canadians want to enjoy every single minute of our short summer doing stuff outside.

When coin collecting ceases to be fun then it's best to step back or find something else to do. That happens to me just about the start of every Summer.

My collecting focus shifts in about two year cycles between guns, militaria and coins. I just sold my large militaria collection and am getting back into coins!

I've had a few periods like that, the past 2 yrs, fortunately they were short lived. My problem I find more than I can afford to collect. Like everyone says, it's time to focus on summer activities. Get back to collecting in sept. have you tried looking into the historical period each coin represents, I find this really gets my juices flowing.

I am to the point in my coin collecting where I am looking for older coins, so I cant find anything in change that I am looking for. I try to keep an even look on it, and between my local coin dealer, and the internet, I try to spend between $1000, and $1500 per month.
I do miss the everyday excitement of looking at my change, so I started a new set of circulated, and have even started into collecting block numbers, to keep my currency interesting. This keeps me interested, until the middle of each month when I can do a search for some good coins that I need for my main set.

tired of staring at tiny dates, yes. bored of collecting, no. just have to take breaks to recoup every once in a while. might actually jsut do small dollars next month since they are so quick to do.
