Scottishmoney Pillar of the Community United States 597 Posts	Posted 08/08/2007 6:38 pm I used to collect English coins a long time ago, mostly hammered, but once at an ancient and medieval coin show I picked this up for some ridiculous amount like about £20: This is a large crown sized coin that then was worth 5 Shillings, a fair good amount of money in 1676. If it circulated in Scotland it would have been worth 60/- there. Report this Post to the Staff
