I used to collect English coins a long time ago, mostly hammered, but once at an ancient and medieval coin show I picked this up for some ridiculous amount like about £20:
This is a large crown sized coin that then was worth 5 Shillings, a fair good amount of money in 1676. If it circulated in Scotland it would have been worth 60/- there.
Nice crown! Even though it shows some wear, it is unusually choice in that it doesn't seem to have any distracting marks or rim bumps. (let me know if you ever get tired of it)
