Hello Members,

In my collection I've got this Solidus coin. At least thats what the edge says. It is probably overstruck.
But I can't find an match. Maybe poland?

Just by luck I found this one: Appears to be an Solidus from Livonie. Probably overstruck by another type. This one below is from the Swedish occupation alround 1660.

I have a couple different varieties of that coin. Most look just like yours.

DO you perhaps know on which coin it is overstruck? Just an older type of the same country?

I think the coins were stuck on a sheet and then punched out. So what you are seeing is part of another of the same coin. I have perfect centered ones and ones that are way off. These coins are so thin. Maybe an expert in 1600's billon coinage could help.
