I have a Presidential dollar, the 2012 Grover Cleveland 1st term, and it is off-centered. The rim is clearly thinner on one side than the other. In the pictures I used identical size black bars to demonstrate the difference, which is readily noticeable by the naked eye.

So my question is: is this normal for these coins, is it an error, or is this a fake counterfeit? (I don't have a digital scale to weight it, need to get one of those!) TIA!

Slight MAD, or Misaligned Die.
Normal coin, not a counterfeit.
This type of slight MAD seems to be commonly seen on prez, native american and sacagawea dollars that have thick rims that make the slight MAD more visible.
