It is just one more set in the Silver Eagle series. If you are just another bullion collector, I would say pass. If you have any aspirations of becoming an ultimate
ASE collector, than the special sets are a must.
But before you start, you must realize that if you start down this road of collecting sets, you must also acquire the 2006 20th anniversary 3-coin set @$200-$400, the 2011 25th anniversary 5-coin set,@$650-$900, the 2012 San Francisco 2-coin set @$150-$250.
If you just want justification for the West Point set, it contains the 5th rarest Silver Eagles minted and the only Enhanced Uncirculated coin ever minted.
