You seem a little down about this one 'Raymo, is there any issues I'm not seeing? If anything it might have an old cleaning but I don't see anything really wrong.

All the high spots have been burnished shiny, like a new coin. I was going through my coins filling my 7070 and all my messed with coins really stood out. This coin has great bones but she's been mistreated and it bothers me every time I see it.

I see what you mean. The fields look alright, but the high points do have that sort of "chopped" look you see with a bad surface wipe.

I think it grades VF-30. If the coin really bothers you, it will probably better to sell/trade it for another example that you like better. It doesn't seem to have a little of scuffing on the high points but it doesn't really look all that bad unless it looks much worse in hand. This coin is typical of circulation cameos with lighter high points and darker fields. Personally, I like the coin.

It's hard to see in the photos but all the high points are sanded to like new silver. Really stands out.

VF-30 details. Toning is too uniform IMO, I wonder if it was "helped along" to improve its appearance.

fields are extremely clean, and toning is uniform as Joe2007 said. Something was probably done to it to improve appearance, but not sure what. Who cares though, still a nice representative piece, and I would go VF-25.

20? 25? This coins an easy 30, possible 35. It has XF details all day long, just an issue with an old cleaning that has since retoned. Not a coin I'd kick out of bed. As for being market acceptable, I'm inclined to say that it is but I'd really want to see it in-hand first. At any rate, I think it would be netted from XF to VF and graded problem free assuming it's MA.
