My first look said AU-50.

Im leaning towards AU53 too--the dig across Liberty's cheek drops it a notch for me.

thanks for the guesses. the coin does have 4 FULL diamonds, they just didn't show up in the pics.

The reverse does have the look of some wear now that I see it on something other than a small smartphone screen, still a really nice coins other than the scratch. Maybe AU55 if that is rub I'm now seeing on the fields of the reverse.

thanks guys. Yeah, I was thinking about au58, maybe a deduction to au55 from the scratch. Understand though, these scratches are old and toned over....and the pictures are very large. I cannot even see the scratches in hand without a loupe....I am quite positive they would not result in a details grade
