I just bought this 1923 Peace it is the most beautiful specimen I have ever seen. What grade do you think it would be? Keep in mind it is in a 2x2. Thanks

THAT is a very nicely struck 1923 Peace dollar! Very pretty! (I'm assuming the marks I see are on the 2x2.)

MS-63?

Nice luster. If those marks are on the holder you may have an MS65!

ok I opened it, the mark on her face is on the coin, do I try to clean it or just send it in to be slabbed?

Looks like there are some small hits above "O" in GOD and on the "9". If so it may grade 63. Has a good shot at 64 though. Depends on the graders mood I suppose. Had one like this that I thought was a solid 64 & they graded it a 63 because of a small hit near the date.

Probably a 64. Not worth grading, enjoy it as is.

Generally, cleaning a nice coin like this will do more damage than good. I'd send it as is.

Good luck!! It's a beauty!
