Buddha is sometimes depicted with only one hand raised and facing outward.
This figure has two hands raised facing inwards. Therefore I would say a Hindu medallion.

Looks to me like Double Abhaya Mudra which represents protection, peace, benevolence, and dispelling of fear. I say a representation of a Theravada Buddha. IMHO.

Pishpash: size is 57 mm, and it is made from something like aluminium, it is very light.

can anybody tell me what is the letters on medallion and in what language?
i was looking for it on google but did not find out what the text says...
is this medallion worth something?

Amida is spot on. Said to be from Thailand/Laos but I've never seen a representation of it here.

I'm not sure which script it is; it doesn't look Devanagari (Indian), but it doesn't look Thai or Lao, either.
