There are occasional posts on here wondering what design people like the most. For a change of pace, I'd like to see what people think is the ugliest. Nothing personal against people who disagree, of course

For me, it's the Ike dollar, mostly because worn ones make Ike look like Voldemort. See below.

For me, this is a tossup between the shield reverse of the cent and the ATB Quarters.

The Jefferson nickel is a real stinker. But the normal Washington quarter is also really boring.
Rest in Peace

Or the Thing from Fantastic Four. It's clobberin time.

Mine would be the obverse of any and all US coins struck in 2014 (meant for circulation). Low relief for mass production/ maximum die life and not to mention the basic bust design running from 1909, 1932, 1938, 1946.

Presidential dollars. Actually nice design, but can't get over the "$1" instead of the traditional "ONE DOLLAR"

For me Susan B. Dollars or the Ikes, Presidential dollars are also pretty ugly once worn.

Not counting the numerous ugly modern commemoratives, I have to go with the post-2006 Jefferson nickel. It's everything that's wrong with our modern circulating coinage.

Other candidates for mine include the Susan B. Anthony dollar (that 11-sided polygon around the edge is really awkward)and the Presidential dollars (any coin that is gold in color that isn't gold just depresses me).

Currently circulating design: not fond of the Susan B. Anthony dollars
Classic design: any of the Barber series coins

I do not know? A lot are going to say Barbers....I kinda like them especially in VF+ grades. Certainly a better depiction of liberty than that dude on Morgans....
