You might want to acquire A Guide Book of Morgan Silver Dollars by Q. David Bowers

Whitman has just released the 4th edition. https://whitman.com/store/Inventory...-4th-Edition

I own the 3rd edition from 2007 and have looked at it multiple times.

Some of those coins don't look truly PL to me. It's a designation that the TPG's got a little loose with in the past, but tightened up on in recent years.

I agree with the aforementioned...pace yourself and be selective with your choices.

I dont really think buying some graded coins is that big of a thing. I am taking all of you guy's advice very seriously. If not I would have bought wvery proof morgan on ebay by now. I like the idea of getting a pl coin for as many different years as possible. Also, I'm def going to finish the set. Will be a fun challenge. I'm going to do it in 64 grade no less. Even though I have a few 67,s, its way too much money. Even 64 there are a few years that may get expensive if I dont already have them.
