I saw a listing on ebay that offered a 14 day return policy, but the seller said "REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE GIVEN IN THE EVENT THAT AN ITEM IS GROSSLY MISREPRESENTED." Can you do that legally and offer 14 day returns?

My guess is they are offering a 14-day return policy in order to meet (or are trying to meet) the requirements for the Top Rated Seller Discount. The 14-day return option is in a check box the Seller clicks on during the listing process. The wording about "no returns...." Is probably in the body of the listing.
He may not even realize he has conflicting info in the listing. ASQ the Seller and ask him what the policy he has really is.

Well, it was listed under the extra refund terms, so I just took it that he accepted them, but only if the item was misrepresented.
Also, if I have a 1 day handling time, and something sells on Friday night, is it going to count me off if I print the label Monday morning? I can't ship it until Monday anyway.

Don't ask us this question, ask the seller.

I'm not worried about the seller, I am wondering if I can do it on my listings. I am a seller.

returns are generally only accepted, if the item is not as described, or it is a precious metal. However; stating returns are not accepted in small print will never get a seller out of taking a return. Paypal and ebay will always side with the buyer. Same as when a seller says I am not responsible for items lost in the mail..Guess what .they are.. Your best bet as a seller is to state returns are accepted if item is not as described, and state buyer pays returned shipping with tracking.. I have seen some sellers now who only take photos of an item and a title. saying please check photos and bid accordingly.. good luck.. Long story short you as a seller can do everything right and still get worked over by a less than honest person. it happens..

Yeah, I know how that is. It has happened to me before.

If you print your label on Monday, get it in the mail and scanned "accepted" before the post closes on Monday, enter the Delivery Confirmation number on your sold items page before midnite California time on Monday night you have met the requirements for one day handling time.

Okay, that's what I thought, I just wanted to make sure. I saw something that made me think it wasn't.
