I was at PNC Bank with my father to get a box of Cents. I looked over into the teller's tray and saw a Franklin half dollar! I then asked if I could see it. She let me see the 6 half dollars in the tray. Here is what I found:

Bank-Teller's-Tray-Scores-Again!

Bank-Teller's-Tray-Scores-Again!

Bank-Teller's-Tray-Scores-Again!

Bank-Teller's-Tray-Scores-Again!

The list includes:

2 1965 40% Kennedy halves
1 1964 90% Kennedy half
1 1951 Franklin half

I didn't show my happiness until we got into the car so the teller wouldn't think I was getting some expensive coins.

PS. My father paid face value for all these! Also, the Cent box has a Wheatie ender!

Here in Puerto Rico half dollars are not in circulation and banks don't have them either.

Thanks, everyone!

Junjun, my banks rarely carry half dollars, too, so I was surprised to see them there.
