Not a clue. I can find a couple of the markers, but find no images of the RPM-1 of the MM.
So, being new to the variety field, I ask, does this MM look like anything to you guys?

I see a lot of die wear on your example. It looks like the mint mark punch may have been damaged, thus altering the mint mark. I don't have a listing for the 1935-S Quarter. Maybe someone else has an image of one? But from what I can see, I see no evidence of a RPM.

Thank you coop. Here is what I could dig up.
From VarietyVista, taken from CONECA .
Again, I have not studied varieties, please excuse my ignorance.
What I would like to have is a reference image. Or some knowledge. :)
Probably nothing, but I have become intrigued.
From this website: http://www.varietyvista.com/Variety....htm#_1935-S

Jon take a closer picture of the mintmark so I can see if its a RPM or not. The photo is to far away to verify if RPM or not.

Oops.
Guys, please excuse the goose chase.
I pulled the coin to get better pics, and the MM looked normal under 10X. WT . . . .
I shot it again just to verify (my eyes ain't so good no more!) and sure enough, nice crisp, clean MM.
Must have been a trick of the light, screwy camera or who knows.
Thanks for the help, I got my answer! And piqued my interest in varieties a bit.
I wonder how many thousands of dolllars that will cost me before I am done . . . .

It can actually be a very rewarding and inexpensive to get into varieties. Many of us roll search. Just go to the bank, buy some rolls, and start searching. Keep the ones you like, and return the rest. I am a Lincoln Cent variety hunter. I have found some Lincoln Cent varieties that I have turned around and sold for more than $100 each, my cost was just 1ยข each. I know others on this forum do Lincolns, some do nickels. While I have seen others on here that do quarters and or half dollars. I have been doing it for over five years now, and I do not see myself stopping anytime soon.
