Hey guys , just found this 1955 in a roll from the bank, hoping someone can tell me what's wrong with the date,and maybe what caused it thanks to all you guys for looking and commenting

It is the "poor man's doubled die". Shadowing of the last 5 is visible. Pretty common on 1955 cents. It's not an actual doubled die, I forget the specific cause but could be heavily used dies. People often try to sell them for a dollar or two.

It's two...two mints in one It's both,it's known as a poor mans doubled die and technically it's Die Deterioration.

These are called the poor man's doubled die, but if that was all you collected and bought them, you would be the poor man.
