Here is a nickel 50 Pfennig from 1939 minted in Berlin. It is about the size of a dime. Much of this short lived series was recalled and melted down for the metal that was needed for the war effort, and replaced with the larger aluminum pieces.

Mexico 20 Centavos   In the First World War, Mexico was courted by Germany but ultimately remained neutral. During the Second World War, she had broken diplomatic relations with the Axis Powers after Pearl Harbor, and then declared war upon them in May, 1942 following the torpedoing of two of her oil tankers off Florida.
