1935 D Dime Error On Neck - Coin Community Forum

There are a few counterstamps with the names of known merchants which have a certain collectability to those few who are interested, but this is just a random symbol punched into a coin. spottidog1 New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 09/05/2014 1:38 pm Its official! This same symbol is on a WW2 bayonet. An Ordnance insignia for ammo called the flaming bomb. Thanks all for your insight. It helped my dad get to the bottom of this mystery since he found it back in the early 50's. Report this Post to the Staff
