If anyone is interested, there's a lot of good info in the metal detecting section of CCF.

Price & quality. If you have the funds go with a higher end of the Whites brand. John1

how about the fisher F4? I have never touched a metal detector in my life before. Reviews say that the ace 350 has problems decerning between bottle caps and coins. Any idea on the truth to this. I just want something that works and will not always give me trash of course

I am in southern Macomb County and I haven't found ANY silver by roll hunting in over the two years I've tried. Perhaps some banks get their stock from different places. I've been getting all of my boxes from Loomis; maybe I have to get some accounts set up in a few different banks.

you can say that again, this ones in pretty darn good shape too, even the feathers and under feathers are still fully visable, I'm not really good at condition rating but id say its at least in fine if not xf condition. Probably out of someone's collection I'm going to assume

that's where I get mine from as well, I use first merit bank as my box getter, and I use team one credit union to do my dumping for free. :)
