First glance, looks like an Encased Coin for a necklace and the loop has broken off. |

The reeding is present but it is covered by a bezel.

Weight? The bezel will add weight, so it will weigh more than normal.

Domain, At first I was thinking it was a drying coin because the rim is rounded and the is a lip. Which is somewhat interesting because I have never seen and IKE Dryer Coin before. However, the pictures of the coin near the bottom made me think bezel that had the loop twisted off. Especially the section above the "R" in LIBERTY on the obverse. It looks like part of the metal is peeling away. |

Been working long time on new fresh bag of Ikes. Maybe I will get lucky this week, or next.

I hope you find TWO 1972 Type II's in that bag, or at least 10 1973's! Good luck and take it easy my friend! Thanks again for helping me out with the IKE's. I still need to post pictures of my finished Dansco!
