I just received my order from the US Mint of the 50th Anniversary Kennedy half dollar Uncirculated set (2 unc coins in capsules inside a sealed folder).

Just wanted to say that my 2 coins are beat up pretty badly....lots of major dings. I am not expecting perfect coins, but I wasn't also expecting such damaged ones also. Anyone here get this US Mint product? Are your 2 Kennedy's beaten up badly?

Anyway, I'm returning this set.

I picked up a couple of them and have only opened one. I'm not a big fan of the way they sealed these with a clear circular sticker that you have to cut through, but that's a minor gripe.

The coins in the one I looked at are fine. No visible dings.

Good luck with your return. Hope you get a better set in exchange.

Thank you. Is that clear round seal a new feature the US Mint will be using? I'm not suire why they would?
