I cant tell if thats wear or not, the woody effect makes it hard to discern. If it is, then AU-58, if not, then MS-64 RB, with a shot at 65

AU-58, definitely no lower than a 64 if MS. Very nice

I'm thinking MS-64 RB. Outstanding example of a 1909-S VDB! Well done on this purchase!    I'm interested to see what PCGS thought of the color. It sort of looks altered; however it could just be the lighting.
