Thanks for asking.
He mainly traded 12 Dansco Albums (which he threw in free) and only charged the coins around melt. This included canada dollars,
Franklin halves ($6.60 each) album, Liberty head halves (the only one he charged more than spot) album, liberty quarters album,
Standing quarters album,
Barber dimes album, merc dimes album,
Walking Liberty halves album. My favorite almost complete album was the
Kennedy half (including proof) album). Obviously they didn't charge much for this as it has a lot of non-silver in addition to all of the proofs form 1964 - 2004. I also picked up (not at spot)
Half Cents,
Half Dimes, the old V and 5 nickles, large cents,
Indian cents... The only crap coin I got was the FE just because he didn't have any of these.
I had purchased a lot of rounds and
ASE in September, and they ran out. They were just going to replace them, but I had plenty of rounds and
ASE, so I just traded for what I mentioned above. I think we both got a win/win.
I got tired of just buying rounds and
ASE as I am convinced they will never be worth that much (given they don't pay rent or dividends). I don't plan to make any money off coins either, but at least it makes a hobby. For income, I think rentals are a better bet given the passive income.
I'll take a picture of the Kennedy book, as it is my favorite even it was cheap. Again, cheap because they needed my rounds and
ASE (they ran out) and nobody wanted older coins.
