Tough one to grade. Good pictures though.
In all honesty, AU58.
Obverse - a couple, VERY small ticks on the rim. A couple, VERY minor ticks on the cheek/eye area. Not a super strong strike in the beard/ear area. Tick on the "Y" in Liberty.
Revers - Wheat kernels a little soft on the details.
This MIGHT get into an MS62 BN, but would be more comfortable at the AU58 grade.

[quote]Is that a repunched mintmark?/quote] I think it might look like RPM, only my poor lighting. I got this on ebay a week ago for $30. Even an old coot gets lucky sometimes.

i have seen a couple of responses - that give a coin MS62 - or AU58.
does this mean that the is no grade in between the two. if so - then whats the point of having a 0-70 scale.
thanks

Grading from pictures on the internet is speculative at best, what one person sees as mint state another sees as AU or whatever. One must always have the coin in hand to be sure of the grade.
