This one really stands out to me as being a counterfeit! Watch out for this one... 281485435218 *** Edited by Staff to remove YELLING from the subject ***

You didnt say much on what makes you think it is a fake but if I'm on the same page its beacuase the MM doesn't show the same wear pattern as the date and the rest of the coin or am I missing something?

Yes, that is what I am basing it on. I've done extensive research on this in the past, and many of the known fakes that I have seen look exactly like this one. It just looks too obvious to me.

Yeah, and it's hard to get a good look at the "s" to see if it's legit or not. Pass.

I wouldn't touch that with a 100 foot pole.
Blurry pictures, no returns.

Was this faked from scratch or was the s added somehow to a legit coin? This is why I have yet to buy from ebay! I am still a babe in the woods.

The discoloration around the MM indicates the possibility of it being soldered on.

Looks like a real 1909 VDB but with an oldschool tool and die job. Mintmark added from the rim. But this is a really crap job. Prob the tool guys first attempt. You can see evidence on both sides of coin

The fact that there's a reserve really takes the cake.

Man, that "S" is so high above the rest of the coin, you could scratch your back with it.
