DNA, I can relate! I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and just received a 2013P White Mountain ATB in my change. I haven't even seen a regular issue 2013 Canadian quarter yet, and being out west I usually get more D's than P's whenever I encounter any American coins. Plus I get very few ATB's up here anyway, and to this point they have all been D's. So I'm a happy guy also!    |

Another Canadian ATB story - after finding a White Mountain-D in Alberta, I got another one as change at a Couche-Tard in Montreal. Even in Eastern Canada, I attract Denver-mint coins... But here's a very interesting find. One of my close friends recently went to Sherbrooke, Quebec. Upon renting their car, they found a 2011-P Grant dollar sitting in the trunk!! It's pretty beat up and shows signs of circulation - whether it was circulated by an American car renter or an unsuspecting Canadian, I can't say. The edge lettering is very shoddily struck compared to my only other Presidential dollar, and is almost illegible in places (like the date and mint-mark... grr). But (thanks to the strangeness of how it was found) it's a keeper!  |

So I took a closer look at that weak edge lettering, and entire portions seem to be omitted. I can't find "E PLURIBUS UNUM" anywhere on the rim when compared to my Washington dollar. Was there a change midway through, or is this a weird error?

Today, another Hawaii Volcanos P found its way to my change pocket :) I now have two "P" ATB Quarters of the same design from circulation, and yes the Hawaii is my favorite ATB so far! |

Been an interesting week for me, 7 days and 8 sweet nickels. 4 War Nickels, 3 buffalos (one a really nice 1936-S, 2 dateless) and the real shocker to me, I pulled a worn but readable 1897 V nickel out of a co-worker's drawer, she didn't even notice it was different. Tops my previous oldest circulation coin by 14 years! |

Today, a White Mountain-P, down to AU no less. I'm now up to nine P-mint ATB varieties received in my change! (ten total, with two Hawaii Volcanos-P Quarters) |

A few moths ago I found a 1902 Indian penny in change I was given! Can you believe it went 111 years without being noticed? It's probably been to more places than I have. |

Yesterday at my neighborhood grocery store, among my handful of change, I got a '45 Wheatie, a clad bicentennial quarter, and a P-mint Yosemite ATB Quarter. Nothing very remarkable, but it was a pleasant trifecta. |
