Ximon, look at the edge, if there's copper, it's clad, if not then it's silver.
I've personally pulled 3 silver proofs from the til at work this year.

Hi everynumismatist  Its been a while since I've posted consistently, but that hasn't stopped me from finding some interesting coins in my change. I found a 1950 S Wheat cent yesterday, and a few ATB's here and there. But I'm really happy about finding a 1978BU ike in the till at work yesterday.  Edited by 1967Canadapenny

Today at Walgreen's, the cashier apologized to my wife because he was out of quarters and had to give her a '67 Kennedy. |

Today's score:  5 Canadian cents (54, 67, 75, 79, 80) 1944 Wheat 2 silver Rosies (57, 61-D) Obsolete 1979 Mexican 20 Centavos 2004 Peruvian 1 Nuevo Sol Funny story about the 61-D dime, a coworker's father was hiding and throwing change at her to get her attention, one of the coins he threw away like that was that silver dime. I was nice enough to tell him what it was, he didn't ask for it back XD Edited by Dasaki

What do you think, good find? I found this in change years ago, didn't even realize its nickel composition. Not bad for a guy in Massachusetts. What do my northern neighbors think, how rare are these in Canada?  |

Today's Chaco Culture-P find means that if I started a date folder for my ATB P-mint Quarters found in circulation, it would now have 12 holes filled. Nowadays, I get excited when I see an ATB in my change that's darker and has a little less luster than usual  (which must be from actual circulation, because most of the BU "P"'s I see at dealers are as white as BU "D"'s) |
