Interesting Find From Circulation

2004 p dime broadstruck with 2 smaller Cuds, and a 3rd larger, with a crack in it running from rim go center of bust. I have no idea what it's worth, haven't found anything this messed up on the web.

I'm on a roll at work, for the 4th time in a row, I found a Wheat penny that wasn't a common date! 1935 plain, which is always nice to see especially when you flip it over!

Bugo - sorry, missed your post with the 1861 halfpenny. That's an amazing find. Even in my childhood I only once remember finding a Victoria Young Head halfpenny in change, and that had an unreadable date!

It's funny, but I don't think of that halfpenny being one of my best finds. I consider the Indian head and VDB pennies, V nickel, Barber dime, the Franklin halves, the 1976-S silver quarter, the constant flow of silver Roosevelt dimes that lasted about 2 months and ended up with over 40 dimes, and the 1884-O Morgan dollar that I got at the local convenience store where somebody had spent it (they were nice enough to keep it for me and to sell it to me at face value) in a higher regard but now that I think about it the halfpenny was a pretty cool find. I doubt anybody else in this forum in the US have found one of these in circulation in poor condition like this.

I went to the car wash last night. The machines were recently upgraded to take electronic payments, but they no longer take one dollar coins. Someone did not realize this and managed to get a well worn 2000-P Sacagawea stuck in the machine. It fell into the reject slot when I put some quarters in to extend my time. She looks pretty bad, but a free dollar nonetheless.

I got a tattered $1 star note today in change. I'm not going to keep it because it's in such bad shape. When I saw the star, I showed it to the girl behind the counter and explained what a star note is.

I finally got some good stuff at work last night- a 1939 penny, and 2 nickels from 1941 and 1957.
