I wish this was me but my girlfriend came home from work last night and asked me what year quarters were silver. I told her '64 and earlier. she said good cuz she got a 64 last night without a scratch on it. I of course said let me see it. IT WAS A PROOF!! easily a PR62-64. I couldn't find a scratch or blemish on it with a 10x loop. I have been trying to talk her out of it since. :)

Over the weekend I got my first barr note from the gas station across the street from where I live. It grades vg but I will hold on to it anyways. The owner is from India and hasn't a clue about our money. In the past month and a half I received from this same store 2 silver dimes 1950 s and a 1960 d. Also 1 War Nickel.
Rest in Peace

1989 D Jefferson nickel, BU. I guess you would classify it as an "error" coin in that the "D" was completely filled in.

200 New pence of Great Britian. The new Effigy you think would stand out from a typical American Quarter. Oh Well glad to have it..

Last night hit the jackpot at the carryout. GOt a 1976 bicentenial half dollar, a 1966,1965,1964 half dollar and also a 1961 Franklin half dollar. There were also 2 1940's and 2 1950's quarters sitting there. Also found a 1941 nickel. Silver galore!!
