My sis worked in a 7-11 for awhile, she worked up quite a collection of S/C's halves, dueces etc.

I found a 1951 NZ penny in my pocket yesterday. I'm not sure how it got there, or when. I guess I haven't worn those pants in a while.

I haven't found anything of interest in my own pocket for quite a few days. However today a convenience store clerk who knows I collect gave me a 1925 P Lincoln Cent, which looks to be in fine condition. I guess technically that's a find from circulation. I haven't looked in the Red Book yet to see if it has much value. Wish a clerk would give me a 1922 plain!

Where, I live an person spent an 1963 red seal 5 dollar star note. The clerk wanted to buy it but she was broke. She knows I collect coins and asked me if I wanted it. I told her yes and paid her with 3 new dollar coins and an 2003 two dollar bill.
That's more rare than old coins these days since paper money dont last like metal coins do. I was amazed the government never shread it for new 5 dollar bill in say 1970 or years ago. Old coins are easy find but never old paper money these days. I wish I knew why they spent it or why it surrived all these years like it did. Its not best and its little rough and wore for an old 5 dollar bill. I was amazed it was an star note on top that . Its secord old bill I ever found in my lifetime dealing tons of cash over the years. My last find was about 10 years ago. It was an 1950 something 10 dollar note. I spent that 10 dollar bill by accident years ago. I am sick over it after I lost it. My 1963 5 dollar star note is put away where it will not get lost or spent like my 10 dollar note was. How rare is this note ? I never seen one before

Your bank note is not nearly as rare as the one a friend gave me a few days ago!
It is a $1,000,000 bill. It is crisp, and a series 1996, Why, it even came in a protective holder.
But, darn it, ya know what? I don't think it's real!

Don't try spending that $1,000,000 at Walmart, you just might get arrested for it.

I'd suggest small, out in the country banks and paper rolls! A lot of time coins circulate in a given area for years!

I got four original rolls of Ike dollars back in 2004 from a small bank in a very small town in rural Calif. They had been in the drawer for over 25 years according to the teller.

Some knucklehead paid my son (works at a drive thru) with 9 Mercury dimes yesterday! He comes home and says "Dad, look what I have for you!". Gotta love that!
