Awesome find! That Roosevelt folder looks like it contains sulphur. The toning is nice!

I think you could've gotten some pretty good money for that obw roll of 64's. People love bidding on that kinda stuff. Great score !

Great find indeed - although tempering enthusiasm to mention most of what I have seen is bulk silver and subject to today's market spot price.
The 1964 Roosie folder might be an exception ... there are collectors willing to pay serious dollars for honesty toned coins.
However that works out ... great find indeed.

Thank You, MV! I appreciate the info you provided. Quite impressive. Thanks for all the comments. Yes, the silver coins are all basically considered JUNK bullion, with the exception of the '64 Kennedy roll and the Roosevelt dime folder. But I gotta say that because they were circulated pieces it felt more real in terms of having a connection to local history. Sure, if every coin was BU they would be worth more, but the circulated silver gave the experience a completely different feel. This was real money used by real people. I feel like I bought a part of a long lost past from my home town. Raymo- I know what you mean about the Kennedy roll, but there was no way I was gonna be able to resist opening it.

Rexall Drugs was a chain of drug stores. I remember going to one when I was a kid (mid-70s) and getting ice cream at the ice cream counter.
Oh, yeah, and great find. My treasure hunter gene is vibrating.

Were there any scarcer dates among the silver dollars?
