Quote: a) these sets were available for everyone to purchase with no household limit in place Correct....and it is a pretty big reach to assume that after 12/8 ANY orders exceeded the HH limit of 5 sets were filled... Pictures of boxes is just not evidence of anything other than that they are what they are...boxes from the Mint I received a box of 22 sets via UPS on Sunday (yesterday)...didn't take a pic of it though 14 on their way to NGC for grading

Any update from people who ordered on 12/4? Mine was flip-flopping between ON HOLD and BACKORDER a lot last week, but my 12/4 order has been stuck on BACKORDER since late Thursday or Friday morning.
Also, for what it's worth, I called again on Friday to see what sort of answer I would get this time. I asked what it meant to be ON HOLD vs BACKORDER and she said I've was on BACKORDER in her system, when I was looking at the website that was saying ON HOLD. I asked about this and she didn't have a great answer other than in their system that I can't see I was on BACKORDER. So, I'm not sure the flip-flopping means much......or she was wrong. Either is possible.

That's the weird thing about the 12/4 orders...my delivery yesterday was a 12/4 order but there are a bunch (your's) that got dumped back to the BO/Hold circle..

I received my Dec04 orders today.
I guess if your order hasn't shipped yet chances are you may not receive it as the US Mint may have (deliberately) oversold this set.

I have read in a few places that ANY order placed before 12/8 WOULD ship...

I just received my last 6 sets. Not as nice as the first batch, but these are not returned pieces. One of the notes ended with 6666. Based off of the serial numbers for these sets, could this be a good one, or just a regular bill?

My second order (12-12) still says "BACKORDER" for status. I think that will likely soon change, when these sell out officially and I don't get that order fulfilled.

Just opened my mint box. Four sets, no problems.
My sets were ordered on 12/11 and shipped on 12/12. For me I think it took a little longer to get here, than past mint orders, but as long as I got them ... I am happy.
Hard for me to understand why some, that ordered before me, are not getting their sets.
My sets were shipped from the Mississippi facility.

Quote: My sets were shipped from the Mississippi facility. They all come from there now. It's extreme north Mississippi, right on the border with Tennessee. It's a suburb of Memphis, so they call it the "Memphis" facility. Memphis is a national transportation hub, so it's a good marriage between the mint and shipping strategy.

My 12/4 order is still BACKORDER status. Anybody else?

I finally received my 4 sets, the package took a 10 day road trip before coming home. Probably due to the busy holiday season. My only gripe is 3 of 4 sets have consecutive notes.

Foxwoods - I was expecting all four notes to be consecutive. This is usually the case, but every once in a while the Mint/BEP will send all random notes, or in my case 3 consecutive notes and one random.
