How many people does it take to report before it gets taken down? This guy is actually selling two of these. One has a picture way too blurry to tell what it is. The one I linked is blurry but you can tell it's a 1917.

Hi murrellington - I was on the verge of starting a thread "Has anybody heard from murrellington?"

It's been awhile. Glad you're back.

Hey Buddy, nice to know someone has thought of me while I've been away. I loved this forum. Anyways, I sold off my coin collection to help pay for school. I'm young, married, and trying to graduate with no debt. I do love coins however, so once I graduate and pay off debt, I'm sure i'll collect again and come back here :)However my collecting will be completely different. Before, I was trying to complete full sets of coins and making them as high quality coins as possible. This became too expensive and too much stress knowing I couldn't afford certain coins. When I return, I'll just collect coins I like. Some toned, some uncirculated, some circulated, and so on. That'll be fun. I look forward to coming back here, but for the meantime I'm focusing my time elsewhere.
Rest in Peace

I knew you were in school but wasn't sure how much longer you had to go before you finished.

It sounds like you've got your priorities in order.

I, too, found the thought of completing a set to be stressful, so my collection is scattered. I just didn't want to buy albums and spend my golden years looking at the holes I couldn't afford to fill. I truly have the most fun digging through junk bins. I always have fun putting those into my homemade albums and I know I'll enjoy them for years to come.

back Murrellington!!

You have to do what you have to do with your collection. I had to sell all my Morgans, Walking Liberty Halfs and Barber Halfs around 5 years ago when my business needed cash. I'm still recovering.

But you're right, when you start again, you can change the way you do things.

You can camp here as far as I am concerned, you really know your stuff. Your knowledge needs to be shared - please don't stay away because you are not actively purchasing. Just think of this as a honing your skills time between classes.

I'm sure missing the guess the price game too. Is that even what it's called? I think I forgot already. But yeah I'm almost done with school so I'll buy a coin here and there.

I miss roll searching too but it took so much time. Working, school, gym, eating meals, and walking my dog take enough time. And I have to spread myself out between the many forums I am on. Lol. I'd like to start a thread about what other forums we are members of. I remember one thread that had people post other things they collect. It was highly interesting.

Anyways, my birthday is next month, maybe I'll buy a nice coin for myself.
