The price was right for this '83 CC at the Frederick, MD coin show today. Also, this is the first CC dollar I bought to start my collection of CC Morgan dollars!

I will post the grade early Tuesday morning.

I noticed a die crack (not much into errors so correct me if I'm wrong) from the date through all the stars on the right side of the obverse. Is this a VAM?

MS-64. Is the scrape on Liberty's cheek on the coin or the slab? If on the coin, then MS-62.

The scrape is on the slab, not the coin.

MS63, and just for your information all Morgan dollars have a VAM #, if you got to VAMworld.com you will be able to get more info and find which VAM your coin is and how rare

MS63 - VAM8, probably LDS as the obverse die cracks are present as seen on the VAM-8A clashed die state.
