I've had this coin for a little while, and going off of the PCGS photograde I'm still unsure on what I would grade this, if the pics are good enough to get a generic gauge of what it would grade..

My 1927 S Standing Liberty:

Yikes...the pics are awful!

But in the interest of giving an opinion, I'd say somewhere between VF35 and XF45.

Providing it hasn't been cleaned you should be happy.

Yeah, the pics are not great, but with what I'm working with, its the best I could get. My Digital camera got ruined camping, ugh

We do need better pics, but from what I see, i'd say VF35, maybe XF40

I'll see about upgrading the pics this weekend. Thank you guys for your opinions, thats about where I was out, high VF, Low XF. Trying to go of PCGS photograde it looks XF, but going off of Redbooks grading guidelines, maybe VF. Not an exact science

Each coin graded stands on its own merits. No two grading companies may arrive at the same conclusion as to grade on the same coin.

It's a game.

VF35 or XF40. I'm leaning more towards 40

Based on the blurry pictures I'm going to lean conservative and say VF-35, but once I see better pics EF-40 wouldn't surprise me.

I think EF40, I just sold a VF25 and this coin is much nicer with a heck of a lot more detail showing.

Reverse is definitely an XF but the obverse is a bit worn to call it an XF. I had a tough time calling this one but PCGS photograde makes it look like a VF-30 Obverse and XF-40 Reverse. Overall VF-35.
