1921 Mercury?

Picked this up as a 1927 P for 4 bucks, When I looked at it it looked like a 1921. when I put it under the camera I am convinced its a 1921 p. Whats your thoughts, also on grade?

I'm no expert when it comes to Mercs but I don't see how that could be anything but a 1921. My guesstimate is that you've got a G-6, coming close to a G-8 that's probably worth about $50.

That angled "1" sure looks like a genuine 1921 to me. Nice find!

Someone messed up good selling you that for $4. At a coin store would sell for at least $50 or more.

Of course there is. You just said G-8 so it must exist. Sort of like saying there is no 4th of July. Same thing. Even if your in China, there is a 4th of July. Happens every year.
G-8 is as good as a G-497714. Even that exists. It's just a letter and numbers.
