1995-D LMC Lamination Crack (Early Stage)

This might be a lamination crack in its early stage. The reason I think so is that the crack seems rather thin and does not go to the rim. I know that a die crack can also be internal and not go to the rim, so it could be one of those.

It could be, are you able to tell if its raised like its a die crack?

Thanks Neo13x. Yes it is raised - but only very slightly. I don't see a way to get a side view photo, though.

This is curious. The coin doesn't look damaged but the zincolns seem to fall apart all by themselves without any outside help at all.

And this coin is from circulation - it came from a roll...

The coin is in great shape for having been circulated and there's nota lot of zinc rot...so I suppose it is a lamanation error. So, YEA! (for now)

Probably a die crack. Zincolns don't have laminations, but do suffer having flakes/copper plating peel struck onto them. Sometimes it peels back, but underneath there should still be the copper plating under such a struck through plating.

But your coin looks irregular like what you would see on a die crack.
