found these two in a single 200$ bag this morning. I opened the bag last night and it was pretty hot right off the bat. Found 2 War Nickels almost immediately, found a no date buff with mintmark in the first third of the bag. Also found a roll worth of 1940's era nickels. Did about half more of the bag and found these two keys and a 1950 as well as a 1919 buffalo (G) and a 47S upgrade. I think the top half of the bag was pretty loaded which is the part of the bag I went through first, but then I dumped more on top of the pile before completing last night and I got into the 50, 38s and 39D this morning as I got back to the original bottom of the pile. I am hoping that the next bag is a continuation of this bag. I still have about 1/4 of the bag sitting on the table to go through. The 39D was also an upgrade for me. I have two complete sets of Jeffersons found in circulation and this is my third 39D, the other two were pretty worn. So a good day coin hunting. I love collecting around thanksgiving - always find good stuff from dumps.

Very nice indeed. I still need that 1938-S as one of the final two to complete my roll-found circulation strike set - and I'm at 319,200 nickels searched! Color me green with envy. David

Thanks for the kind words. Keep searching - it's taken 10's of thousands of dollars and a lot of luck to find what I have found. I actually have found less 39D than 50d. Go figure
This was a good find for nickels. I went throuGh another couple hundred nickels from the bag and only found a few common pre-60.
I think my theory on the top half of the bag being loaded was right.
Hopefully, this means my theory on the next bag is also true.
Would have finished the bag, but two bags of dimes got in the way.

1938S is the last hole in my album.

That had to be a collector's dump.
nickelsearcher,
What is the other nickel you need besides the 1938s?
