Hi everyone,

In need of your expert opinion.

First, is this real? Second, what grade would you give it?

It's supposed to weigh 1.17grams, I weighed it and it weighs 1.14grams.

Thanks

I don't want you to freak out and run to the bank but I don't see anything that would immediately make em say fake and the condition and color just add to me believing its authentic

with dollarman, and having spent a fair bit of time comparing, definitely VG10. IMO.

If it were my coin I would get the verdigris on the rim attended too asap before it roots, if indeed that's what the pictures are saying, cheers and congrats on a treasured find. Good for you.

Sorry 47, I think there's too much wear on the back and front of the jeweled part of the crown, as well as the ear and the moustache for an F12, IMO, subjectively speaking lol, who graded yours?

Using ICCS/CCCS grading standards, that's a VG8 with a shot at VG10, but not likely. PCGS/American standards, VG10 or F12.

I don't see anything about it that screams fake. But it's not the type of coin that I'd ever buy raw. Lots of good fakes out there made out of the proper silver alloy and decent quality dies.

If it's real, it's a VG8

I don't believe it would make F12. In my opinion VG8 no more and it looks real to me. Nice one.

I would say VG10 at best. Too much wear on band of crown to be higher.
