No coins this year, but I did get the sweet new ergonomic Pro-Swing 45 metal detecting harness, manufactured by Minelab. Takes all the detector weight off the forearm and shoulder, and spreads it out over the upper body instead. I'm not small at 6'2", but my bones are getting older and I'm developing tendonitis in my elbow and my shoulder's suffering from an old skiing injury. The Minelab Etrac isn't a lightweight machine, and now I can swing it all day long if I like - got to try it out today here in Michigan, normally the ground would be frozen but no snow yet and ground's soft as butter -

Rastatodd I do love me some halves. Getting a roll of them together is up on my list.

Fist, I'm looking forward to getting out soon with my Garrett 350. I know it's not in the same league as yours, but I'm excited. I got mine in June. Them I broke 2 ribs. Got better, then split my calf muscle open. Yeah it was a rough year. Anyway I have a brand new rig that's been out twice.

The silver stashers are the easiest to but presents for.
Even if you get them a coin they have already got, then that is OK anyway.

If they haven't, then bonus! An ASE can bought by a giver for a reasonable price as a gift, relative to the prices of non numisamtic gifts.

So treat your silver stasher kindly!

Res,
I thought metal detecting would be so cool. Never knowing what you might find when digging. Being your from the United Kingdom and all the history of your country the find could be almost anything of historical value. I'm green with envy. To address your health issues hang in there and may 2015 be better for you.
