Hey,
Just wanted to share a picture of a coin I picked up a few weeks back before silver dropped. I paid $1.20ea for a bunch of dimes that came into my shop. This happened to be one of them. Its been laying around waiting to get NGC'd so I figured I would take some quick shots to share.

I don't know much about overdates or Mercury dimes, but is that the 1 under the 4? If so, that's very neat! Aren't these really pricy?

Thats actually a different 4 from 1941 that you see coming out from under the 4. If you look at the top of the 2 (where you would begin to write it) you see the underlying 1 that goes straight down just underneath the 2.

As far as value, I'm assuming it will come back as a details graded coin, however it is a keydate that some people need in certain books. SO will bring me loads of profit:)

I think it graded VF details.

Nice coin by the way! Did you notice the overdate before or after you bought it?

I noticed it after purchase. I try to be fair and would have paid more then $1.20 for it had I noticed prior. Its why I love having a store and purchasing bulk. Everyday can be a new treasure!
