I have seen this same crack on Lincoln's forehead several times, same location...so I am assuming it may be a die crack...lets see what our seasoned members can tell us. Thank you in advance !

You didn't give a date but I am guessing early to mid 50's . This skull crack/ skull cap type of die crack can be found on quite a few dies from this date range

It is a die crack and these were common on the 1950's wheat cents because they over used the dies past normal retirement. So we see a lot of events happening during this period. It is also common as the others alluded to on these posts.
